15  of Many Fulfilled Prophecies.

Fulfilled prophecy is the  ONLY  proof

to the existence of God.

Keep in mind that many of these prophesies were

hundreds of years in advance.

1)  Prophesied in 626 B.C.

JEREMIAH 31:15  This is what the Lord says: "A voice is head in Ramah, mourning and great weeping, Rachel weeping for her children and refusing to be comforted, because her children are no more."

MATTHEW 2:16  When Herod realized that he had been outwitted by the Magi, he was furious and he gave orders to kill all the boys in Bethlehem and its vicinity who were two years old and under, in accordance with the time he had learned from the Magi. Then what was said through the prophet Jeremiah was fulfilled.

 

 

2)  Prophesied in 950 B.C.

PSALMS 16:10  Because you will not abandon me to the grave, nor will you let your Holy One see decay.

MATTHEW 28:5  The angel said to the woman, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here, He has risen, just as He said. Come and see the place where He lay."

 

 

3)  Prophesied in 950 B.C.

PSALM 34:20  He protects all His bones, not one of them will be broken.

JOHN 19:32  The soldiers therefore came and broke the legs of the first man who had been crucified with Jesus, and then those of the other. But when they came to Jesus and found that He was already dead, they did not break His legs. Instead, one of the soldiers pierced Jesus’ side with a spear, bringing a sudden flow of blood and water.

 

 

4)  Prophesied in 950 B.C.

PSALM 22:18  They divided my garments among them and cast lots for my clothing.

JOHN 19:23  When the soldiers crucified Jesus, they took His clothes, divided them into four shares, one for each of them, with the undergarment remaining. This garment was seamless, woven in one piece from top to bottom. "Let’s not tear it," they said to one another. "Let’s decide by lot who will get it." This happened that the scripture might be fulfilled which said, "They divided my garments among them and cast lots for my clothing." So this is what the soldiers did.

 

 

5)  Prophesied in 950 B.C.

PSALM 41:9  Even my close friend, whom I trusted, he who shared my bread, has lifted up his heel against me.

MATTHEW 26:14  Then one of the Twelve - the one called Judas Iscariot - went to the chief priests and asked, "What are you willing to give me if I hand Him over to you?" So they counted out for him thirty silver coins.

 

 

6)  Prophesied in 950 B.C.

PSALM 69:21  They put gall in my food and gave me vinegar for my thirst.

MATTHEW 27:34  There they offered Jesus wine to drink, mixed with gall; but after tasting it, He refused to drink it. When they had crucified Him, they divided up His clothes by casting lots.

 

 

7)  Prophesied in 701 B.C.

8)  Prophesied in 701 B.C.

ISAIAH 7:14  Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son and will call Him Emanuel.

MATTHEW 1:20  But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lore appeared to him in a dream and said, "Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus, because He will save His people from their sins.

 

 

9)  Prophesied in 950 B.C.

PSALM 118:22  The stone the builders rejected has become the capstone.

EPHESIANS 2:19  Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God’s people and members of God’s household, built on the foundations of the Apostles and Prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the chief cornerstone.

 

 

10)  Prophesied in 701 B.C.

 ISAIAH 9:6  For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end. He will reign of David’s throne and over His kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever.

LUKE 1:30  But the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, you have found favor with God. You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David, and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever; His kingdom will never end.

 

 

11)  Prophesied in 750 B.C.

MICAH 5:2  But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler of Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.

MATTHEW 2:1  After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem and asked, "Where is the one that has been born King of the Jews ?  We saw His star in the east and have come to worship Him."

 

 

12)  Prophesied in 20 B.C.

ZECHARIAH 11:13  And the lord said to me, "Throw it to the potter." The handsome piece at which they priced me! So I took the thirty pieces of silver and threw them into the house of the Lord to the potter.

MATTHEW 27:9  Then what was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet was fulfilled: "They took the thirty silver coins, the price set on him by the people of Israel, and they used them to buy the potters field, as the Lord commanded me."

 

 

13)  Prophesied in 520 B.C.

ZECHARIAH 9:9  Rejoice greatly, oh daughter of Zion! Shout, daughter of Jerusalem! See, your king comes to you, righteous in having salvation, gentle and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.

MATTHEW 21:1  … Jesus sent two disciples, saying to them, "Go to the village ahead of you, and at once you will find a donkey tied there, with her colt by her. Untie them and bring them to me…They brought the donkey and colt, placed their cloaks on them, and Jesus sat on them…The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted, "Hosanna to the son of David!" "Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!"

 

 

14)  Prophesied in 433 B.C.

MALACHI 3:1  "See, I will send my messenger, who will prepare the way before me. Then suddenly the Lord you are seeking will come to His temple, the Messenger of the covenant, whom you desire, will come." says the Lord Almighty.

Holy Spirit's written account of fulfillment in 63 A.D.

LUKE 3:2  During the high priesthood of Annas and Caiaphas, the word of God came to John, son of Zechariah, in the desert. He went into all the country around the Jordan, preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins. As is written in the book of the words of Isaiah the prophet.

 

 

15)  Prophesied in 701 B.C.

ISAIAH 25:8  He will swallow up death forever.

Holy Spirit's written account of fulfillment in 55 A.D.

1CORINTHIANS 15:42  So will it be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable…it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body…when the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: "Death has been swallowed up in victory."

 

 

In light of these 15 examples of fulfilled prophecy, which are only a fraction of the probably 1,000 instances contained within the Bible,

and upon witnessing this indisputable Proof, indeed man really ought to accept the Bible and God as its author.

If not, we will simply be fighting every facet of logic, science and reason - only to experience an eternity of regret, opposed to endless Paradise.

Just as man at one time refused to accept that the Earth was round, the Truth of God's WORD, is simply NOT worth fighting against.

Pursue the Bible for Heaven sake !
