Binding  Covenant  Law

This is probably the most important topic that Traditionalists make their biggest error on.  Before the cross in the gospels there exists two things that are

100 % completely different.

1.  Existing Covenant Law.

and

2.  Prophecy.

And concerning these two things, the following facts are the most important points that every Christian must realize in order to understand these two Biblical subjects;

A.  These two things (Existing Covenant Law and Prophecy) cannot be viewed as similar or equal to each other.

Why, because they are founded upon  "Different Covenants".

B.  New law that is implemented within an already existing covenant  (Example: Matthew 5:22,  any prophet could bring in a new law within an already existing covenant) does not automatically apply to a new upcoming covenant.

Why, because it was given specifically and only to that already existing covenant.

C.  Prophecy is not binding upcoming new covenant law.

Why, because prophecy is always non specific.  Whereas law is always specific.  No one could ever understandingly and distinctly obey a prophecy that does not specify a defined law.

Example:  The prophecy of John 3 (new covenant prophecy "within" old covenant scripture) does not give the specifics of its corresponding and defined new covenant law in Acts 2:38.

John 3:5  Unless a man is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

(It is impossible to obey the words above without further revelation.)

Whereas we can easily obey God's corresponding binding new covenant law in;

Acts 2:38  Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

If you go against these 3 laws of Biblical understanding you will only create untold confusion and hindrance to those seeking the truth of God's word.  Please don't do it.
